Robert Crane - An introduction to hard core IoT
There are the 'Smart home' IoT devices you buy from Amazon and then there is the IoT you build completely from the ground up. You write the code. You compile the code. You solder the component. You hook it to the cloud. In this session I'll share my experiences with going all in on hard core IoT from the beginning. This will be a deep dive technical session that involves some C code, breadboards, Azure configurations and plenty of device demos. So if you love the smell of hot flux, come prepared to learn that with a little effort, and some solder, creating your own IoT solution isn't as hard as it seems and can be a lot of fun along the way.
